Apr 22, 2018

In the clothing world, the fabrics of clothing are varied, with each passing day. However, generally speaking, high-quality, high-grade fabrics are mostly characterized by comfortable wear, sweat-absorbent, breathable, sag, visual dignity, and soft touch.

Modern clothing is made on formal social occasions, using high-quality blended fabrics. The natural fabrics such as pure cotton, pure wool, pure silk, and pure hemp have become common fabrics because they have the disadvantages of easy wrinkle, deformation, and other natural fabrics, and are less used as high-grade clothing materials. The blended fabric has the characteristics of natural fabrics that are sweat-absorbent, breathable, soft and comfortable, and it absorbs the advantages of strong wear-resistance, hanging stiffness, bright luster and bright colors. Every year, a large number of high-grade high-quality blended fabrics are developed. Sometimes it is permissible to dress in pure leather. General apparel fabrics are divided into two major series:

Woven fabrics: Mainly used for outerwear and shirts for clothing.

Knitted Fabrics: Underwear and sportswear of clothing, but due to the development of science and technology, knitted fabrics have also developed toward thick and stiff, gradually making knitted undergarments externalized, knitted fabrics woven and added to outerwear.

With the improvement of the quality of life of modern people, they are also increasingly demanding their own dress. They are no longer limited to the styling and style of clothing, but also whether the lining of clothing is comfortable or not.

According to data from the Research Center of Intellectual Research Center, the rise in cotton prices has increased the cost of the entire production chain, and a series of products in the production chain have had to increase their prices, which has given birth to new opportunities for fabrics in the apparel industry. The upgrading of cotton substitutes for corn fibers, bamboo fibers, and new types Plant hemp fiber and other debut, these bio-based fabrics than the cotton cloth in the production process to save water and pesticides, in line with the needs of consumers and the whole society for low-carbon environmental protection.

The garments processed with these natural animal and plant materials as raw materials are called “eco-apparel”, such as cotton, hemp, silk wool, and leather, which are new types of low-carbon and environmentally-friendly fabrics. They use natural animals and plants as raw materials and undergo virus detection. symbols of. "Combined with today's "green wind" and modern people's inner needs, "eco-apparel" is gradually becoming a new trend in the fashion field. They not only reflect the suit's environmental awareness in style and design, but also range from fabrics to buttons, zippers and other accessories. They also use non-polluting natural raw materials; from raw material production to processing, they also completely protect the environment from the point of view, and avoid the use of chemical dyeing materials and resins that destroy the environment.

The concept of eco-apparel and green clothing is basically the same, but there is also a slight difference: "green clothing" is mainly green textiles and ecological clothing. The “green textiles” that have been developed and marketed in the world generally have various functions such as deodorant, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-ultraviolet, anti-radiation, and humidification. This type of product is still in its initial stage in China. The main products that have been introduced are mainly underwear. However, because this type of textile has specific functions that are beneficial to human health, it is more popular with consumers.

From the above we can see that design clothing, starting from the fabric or style, not only consider whether comfortable, stylish, more importantly, combined with environmental protection, low-carbon environmental protection is the future development trend of apparel fabrics.
